Ready to learn how to cut glass from patterns? Students will create a lovely framed 5x7 glass on glass mosaic in this class.

In this class students will learn how to design glass projects by creating pattterns for mosaics, stained glass panesl and/or suncatchers. We will turn a photo into a pattern. Students will learn and practice glass cutting techniques. There will be instruction on using beetle bits cutting system for strips and a demo on using a circle maker tool for making circles if time permits. The final project will use the cut glass pieces to glue on to clear glass and then grout final project. 

Students will leave with a framed grouted butterfly glass on glass mosaic that will be transparent beautiful to display.

Colors and design may vary. 

**You will need to wear closed toed shoes and bring your own Safety Glasses (REQUIRED).

**There is a material fee of $12 for tool kit. Your kit will include glass cutters that will be yours to take home to practice glass cutting and creating. (if you have taken prior glass class you can bring your tools and skip the tool fee) You will pay this on the day of class before we begin. Please bring cash or check if possible.

1 Day Saturday Camp

3y-6y (an adult must stay to assist)

In this camp our little clay artists will make a swirly snail and mushroom out of colorful polymer clay! These projects will be ready to take home the same day.

Demonstrations and guidance will be provided throughout camp.

Dressing for a messy class is recommended.

Please park in front of the main building and walk your student over to the clay studio.

You will recieve an email prior to camp start date with more camp details.

Let's get crafty! Kids that love crafting creativity will love this 2 day camp. Using mix media we will get our art on! We will make several small crafty projects to show off at home!

Summer Weekly Art Class

Drawing

Ages- 7y-13y

Wednesdays 11am-12pm

This multi age class is a Summer Fun weekly class that will work on a different drawing or painting skill each week for 4 Wednesdays in June and 3 Wednesdays in August.

It is a great way to squeeze in some valuable and fun art lessons during that summer slow down. All materials are included. 

You can pick and choose which Wednesdays to drop in according to your summer activities.

NO walk ins.

Registration is required for specific date of class.

2 Days

Ages: 8y-14y

Thurs. 6/19- Fri. 6/20

10am-12pm TH F

Cost: $90

The possibilities with clay making are endless! In this two day camp your child will explore both handbuilding and wheel throwing. On the first day, they'll learn handbuilding techniques to make a textured noise rattler. On the second day, your child will give the pottery wheel a whirl and learn how to make cups and bowls. This is the perfect camp for your child to explore the wide world of ceramics!

Please send a snack and drink with your child each day.

Demonstrations and guidance will be provided throughout class.

All experience levels and questions are welcomed!

Projects will be made with a strong stoneware clay that turns white once fired in the kiln.

Dressing for a messy class is recommended.

Please park in front of the main building and walk over to the clay studio.

Projects will need to dry and be fired in our kiln. Students will receive a slip with a date for when their project(s) will be ready for pick up.

Only register for this orientation if you will be registering for a STUDIO MEMBERSHIP. 

This is not a clay class. 

Clay Studio Orientation Class will welcome you to the clay studio and provide valuable information about the safe practices and appropriate procedures of using the clay studio during classes and open studio membership hours. 

This class is a requirement in order to be part of the clay studio membership. We look forward to your participation in the studio.
