The possibilities with clay making are endless! Your child will explore both handbuilding and wheel throwing in this two day camp. On the first day, we will hand build a tic tac toe board styled in a theme of their choice, they’ll then paint it with underglazes. On the second day, your child will give the pottery wheel a whirl and make a small bowl or cup. They’ll choose a color for their piece to be glazed with by staff later on. This is the perfect camp for your child to explore the wide world of ceramics!

Please send a snack and drink with your child each day.

Demonstrations and guidance will be provided throughout class.

All experience levels and questions are welcomed!

Projects will be made with a strong stoneware clay that turns white once fired in the kiln.

Dressing for a messy class is recommended.

Please park in front of the main building and walk over to the clay studio.

Disclaimer: Due to the nature of ceramics, sometimes projects can crack, break, or be damaged in the firing process even with the most care and consideration. Unfortunately this is not a cause for refunds.
