All Out Clay Camp 8y-16y

The possibilities with clay making are endless! Your child will explore both handbuilding and wheel throwing in this two day camp. On the first day, we will hand build a tic tac toe board styled in a theme of their choice, they’ll then paint it with underglazes. On the second day, your child will give the pottery wheel a whirl and make a small bowl or cup. They’ll choose a color for their piece to be glazed with by staff later on. This is the perfect camp for your child to explore the wide world of ceramics!
Please send a snack and drink with your child each day.
Demonstrations and guidance will be provided throughout class.
All experience levels and questions are welcomed!
Projects will be made with a strong stoneware clay that turns white once fired in the kiln.
Dressing for a messy class is recommended.
Please park in front of the main building and walk over to the clay studio.

Alcohol Inks

Come join us in the magical world of Alcohol Inks! During this 2-hour session, you will learn how drops of ink can turn into a beautiful creation. You will explore various techniques allowing you to take home a beautifully created abstract design. All materials included.
If you have not used alcohol ink yet no worries, no experience is necessary!
Note: Painting with alcohol ink is for adults (18 yrs+) because of the high concentration of alcohol which can be absorbed through skin and mucus membrane in your nose, mouth, and eyes.

Super Mario Toad Planter Clay Camp- 1 Day Sat. Camp

In this one day camp, we’re jumping into the nostalgic world of Super Mario by creating a Toad shaped planter! Your child will learn techniques like the pinch pot method to form their planter. They’ll then use underglazes to give their planter some color.

Textile & Jewelry Camp 8y-12y

Textile and Jewelry skills will be abundant after this 4 day camp. Students will try a hand at sewing, embroidery, and weaving. They will use their creative skills to design and make jewelry to take home and embellish their fashions.
All materials provide.

This multi age class is a Summer Fun weekly class that will work on a different drawing or painting skill each week for 3 Wednesdays in June, 1 in July and 3 Wednesdays in August.
It is a great way to squeeze in some valuable and fun art lessons during that summer slow down. All materials are included.
You can pick and choose which Wednesdays to drop in according to your summer activities.
NO walk ins.

Gnome Clay Camp -1 Day Thurs. Camp

What do you gnome? Our whimsical garden friends are back for a fun one day camp! Your child will create pinch pots, that they’ll attach together, to form a gnome with a hat. They’ll then learn how to properly attach unique features to their gnomes. Finally, they’ll bring their gnomes to life by adding some color with underglazes.

Sip & Spin- Wheel Throwing Fun Clay Class- August

Monthly every 2nd and 4th Friday night!
Enjoy your favorite adult beverage while you (wheel)throw down! Get to know the pottery wheel in this fun, adult only class. You'll learn how to wedge, center, and pull walls in a participation style demonstration. Students will then be set free with multiple balls of clay to practice until their heart’s content (and 8:30pm:). Event is BYOB and Snacks! Feel free to bring a small cooler to keep beverages cool.
Guidance will be provided throughout class. All experience levels and questions are welcomed!
Students may choose one piece to be finished by staff. You may choose a 2nd piece to be finished for $10 fee. Staff will hand trim and glaze your piece with one glaze of your choice. Watercolor Class- Monthly
with Nina Schmidt
Join us in this monthly exploration of watercolor each 1st Saturday morning of the month. The 2 hour class will explore watercolor technique, integrate art and design principles all while having fun being creative and expanding your skillset. You can sign up every month or pop in when the timing is right. The classes will be suitable for beginners but we will continue to build each class for those that have experience or need challenges.
This will be a small class setting with opportunities to join a watercolor artist community and opportunities to share and get feedback throughout the month via a private social media group.
Seats will be limited. Register early.
