This class will be a 2 hour art project class focused for teens interested in being creative and honing creative skills. No art experience required as this will be for all skill levels from beginner to advanced. They can take their project as far or as minimal as they wish to invest.

All materials will be provided and guidance will be provided as needed. Each month will be a different art technique focus, such as drawing, painting, and/or mixed media etc. 

Have your teen join in some socialization and express their creativity all at once. Sign up for 1 or all 3 this summer.

We’re turning lumps of clay into fascinating creatures! 

In this 1 Day Saturday Camp, your child will learn a few basic handbuilding techniques to form their very own unique creature. It’s easier than it looks! We’ll start by creating a pinch pot and then add details to bring their creatures to life. Once the creatures are formed, they’ll then be painted with underglazes of your child's liking.

Please send a snack and drink with your child.

Demonstrations and guidance will be provided throughout camp.

All experience levels and questions are welcomed!

Projects will be made with a strong stoneware clay that turns white once fired in the kiln. Dressing for a messy class is recommended.

Please park in front of the main building and walk over to the clay studio.

4 Days

Cost: $169

4 days of painting!!! Students will learn painting techniques and tips as well as composition, color theory and how to make texture. We will use brushes and other tools as well as some mix media projects. Children will get to experiment with watercolors and acrylics. They will create multiple projects on paper and canvas such as paint pouring, and splatter.  If painting is their thing, this is their camp!

Dress to get messy.

June 12th

Summer Weekly Art Class

Painting

Ages- 7y-13y

Wednesdays 11am-12pm

$25/class

This multi age class is a Summer Fun weekly class that will work on a different drawing or painting skill each week for 3 Wednesdays in June, 1 in July and 3 Wednesdays in August.

It is a great way to squeeze in some valuable and fun art lessons during that summer slow down. All materials are included. 

You can pick and choose which Wednesdays to drop in according to your summer activities.

NO walk ins.

2 Days

The possibilities with clay making are endless! In this 2 Day Camp your child will explore both handbuilding and wheel throwing in this two day camp. On the first day we’ll hand build an animal themed bobble head then paint it with underglazes. On the second day, your child will give the pottery wheel a whirl and make a small bowl or cup. They’ll choose a color for their piece to be glazed with by staff later on. This is the perfect camp for your child to explore the wide world of ceramics!

Let your little artist come to summer camp to paint their little hearts out! Students will experiment with the process of painting and create beautiful art work to show off at home. Dress appropriately for a messy art class!

1 Day Saturday Camp

Paint pouring is so mesmerizing! Students will have a blast in this one day Saturday summer camp learning the technique of paint pouring by layering fluid acrylic paints, pouring them and then moving them to create colorful abstract artworks. We wil have time to complete a couple of projects. Projects will need a week to dry.

Project Pick up day will be Sat. 6/22 or after

Let's get crafty! Kids that love crafting creativity will love this 2 day camp. Using mix media we will get our art on! We will make several small crafty projects to show off at home!
