Ready to learn how to make a glass and pewter dragonfly?
In this class students will learn about copper foil for glass projects. Various types of copper foil will be discussed including copper foil overlay.
Students will learn about types of solder and practice using solder including decorative solder.
Various colors of dragonfly wings will be available to make the dragonfly.
Students will leave with a beautiful dragonfly with hooks to hang on a pot or in a window.
All supplies are included. Please wear closed toed shoes and bring personal safety glasses.

Wheel Throwing Series- Adults
with Cat Trueblood

9/20, 1:30pm-4pm
9/27 & 10/11, 1pm-3pm
Get to know the pottery wheel in this 3 week Saturday course. Students will learn how to wedge, center, and pull walls to form awesome shapes on the wheel. Once pieces are formed and have dried some, students will learn how to successfully trim their pieces to make a functional foot. Students will learn how to glaze their pieces on the last day of class.
This class is geared for beginners or people wanting more practice with their skill building before moving to intermediate.
Demonstrations and guidance will be provided throughout every class. All experience levels and questions are welcomed!
Students will be able to make and take home up to 3 pieces.
We use glazes that are considered food safe. Projects will be made with a strong stoneware clay that turns white once fired in the kiln.
Dressing for a messy class is recommended.
Join us in Artmosphere’s new clay studio space! Located next to the main building. Park in front of the main building and walk over.
Disclaimer: Due to the fragile nature of ceramics, some pieces have the risk of cracking, breaking or being damaged during the drying and firing process even with the most care. This will not be a reason for refund.

Sip & Spin- Wheel Throwing Fun Clay Class - September

Monthly every 2nd and 4th Friday night!
6:30pm-8:30pm
Enjoy your favorite adult beverage while you throw down on the pottery wheel! After watching a demonstration by one of our skilled instructors, students will be given up to four balls of clay to practice with.
Students may choose their favorite piece to be finished by staff at the end of class. Extra pieces may be finished for a $15 fee per piece. Staff will trim and glaze your piece(s) with a glaze of your choice.
Guidance will be provided throughout class. All experience levels and questions are welcomed!
Your instructor will announce clean up time 20 minutes before the end of class.
Dressing for a messy class is recommended.
Please park in the front parking lot and arrive on time, class starts promptly.

Slay Your Inner Dragon- Collage Class

Join us for an expressive arts workshop where we explore the metaphor of the dragon—your fears, doubts, and inner critics—and the powerful tools you already carry to face them. Through mixed media collage, reflective prompts, and creative rituals, you'll visualize your "dragon," claim your courage, and create a symbolic piece representing your resilience and power.
Materials: Magazines, tissue paper, textured paper, washi tape, glue, paint, stencils, markers
Optional Materials: Scrap fabric, pressed flowers, personal imagery
Outcome: Leave with a powerful “Dragon Collage” as a visual reminder of your courage, strength, and ability to overcome challenges—on your terms.

Pumpkin Glass Mosaic

Pumpkin Glass Mosaic Class

**$10 glass cutter required supply fee due at beginning of class unless you have previously purchased from prior glass class with us
Ready to learn how to cut glass for mosaics? Students will create a lovely unique 5x7 pumpkin glass on glass mosaic. Perfect for fall décor.
In this class students will learn how to use glass nippers, glass cutter and running pliers to complete the project. Students will practice glass cutting techniques especially strips for mosaics. Glass pieces and a pattern for the pumpkin will be provided. Pieces will be glued to the glass and may be grouted if desired.
Students will leave with a framed pumpkin glass on glass mosaic that will be transparent and beautiful to display,
Colors and design may vary.
All supplies included except glass cutter.
