Wheel Throw Down! -Adults/Teens

It's time to throw down! Get to know the pottery wheel in this two hour long class.You'll learn how to wedge, center, and pull walls in a participation style demonstration. Students will then be set free to practice with multiple balls of clay.
Guidance will be provided throughout class. All experience levels and questions are welcomed!
Students may choose one piece to be finished by staff. They will glaze your piece with one glaze of your choice. We use glazes that are considered food safe. Projects will be made with a strong stoneware clay that turns white once fired in the kiln.
Dressing for a messy class is recommended. Join us in Artmosphere’s new clay studio space! Located next to the main building.
Cancellation/Missed Class Policy: No refunds if cancelled < 1week notice or missed due to illness or otherwise. Refunds made prior to 1 week will be sent back to card processed on minus processing fees.

Monthly every 2nd and 4th Friday night!
6:30pm-8:30pm
Enjoy your favorite adult beverage while you (wheel)throw down! Get to know the pottery wheel in this fun, adult only class. You'll learn how to wedge, center, and pull walls in a participation style demonstration. Students will then be set free with multiple balls of clay to practice until their heart’s content (and 8:30pm:). Event is BYOB and Snacks! Feel free to bring a small cooler to keep beverages cool.

Glass Cutting for Stained Glass & Mosaics

Adults
Ready to learn how to cut glass from patterns? Students will create a lovely framed 5x7 glass on glass mosaic in this class.
In this class students will learn how to design glass projects by creating pattterns for mosaics, stained glass panesl and/or suncatchers. We will turn a photo into a pattern. Students will learn and practice glass cutting techniques. There will be instruction on using beetle bits cutting system for strips and a demo on using a circle maker tool for making circles if time permits. The final project will use the cut glass pieces to glue on to clear glass and then grout final project.
Students will leave with a framed grouted butterfly glass on glass mosaic that will be transparent beautiful to display.
Colors and design may vary.
**You will need to wear closed toed shoes and bring your own Safety Glasses (REQUIRED).
**There is a material fee of $12 for tool kit. Your kit will include glass cutters that will be yours to take home to practice glass cutting and creating. (if you have taken prior glass class you can bring your tools and skip the tool fee) You will pay this on the day of class before we begin. Please bring cash or check if possible.

Slay Your Inner Dragon- Collage Class

Join us for an expressive arts workshop where we explore the metaphor of the dragon—your fears, doubts, and inner critics—and the powerful tools you already carry to face them. Through mixed media collage, reflective prompts, and creative rituals, you'll visualize your "dragon," claim your courage, and create a symbolic piece representing your resilience and power.
Materials: Magazines, tissue paper, textured paper, washi tape, glue, paint, stencils, markers
Optional Materials: Scrap fabric, pressed flowers, personal imagery
Outcome: Leave with a powerful “Dragon Collage” as a visual reminder of your courage, strength, and ability to overcome challenges—on your terms.

Very Fun Class!
Get to know the pottery wheel in this 3 week Saturday course. Students will learn how to wedge, center, and pull walls to form awesome shapes on the wheel. Once pieces are formed and have dried some, students will learn how to successfully trim their pieces to make a functional foot. Students will learn how to glaze their pieces on the last day of class.
This class is geared for beginners or people wanting more practice with their skill building before moving to intermediate.
Demonstrations and guidance will be provided throughout every class. All experience levels and questions are welcomed!
Students will be able to make and take home up to 2/3 pieces. We use glazes that are considered food safe. Projects will be made with a strong stoneware clay that turns white once fired in the kiln.

Your Soul's Art Workshop

Through intention setting and communicating with your self you will create a piece of art that helps facilitate the union of body, mind, and soul. This class involves time for writing and reflecting before creating a piece of art incorporating tracing parts of your body and intuitive painting.
