Enjoy your favorite adult beverage(BYOB) while you throw down on the pottery wheel! After watching a demonstration by one of our skilled instructors, students will be given up to four balls of clay to practice with. 

Students may choose their favorite piece to be finished by staff at the end of class. Extra pieces may be finished for a $15 fee per piece. Staff will trim and glaze your piece(s) with a glaze of your choice.

You will recieve a pick-up date slip after class.

Guidance will be provided throughout class. All experience levels and questions are welcomed!

Your instructor will announce clean up time 20 minutes before the end of class.

Dressing for a messy class is recommended.

Clay Pumpkin

Craft a clay pumpkin! Make something special in the clay studio! This group class is dedicated time for adults and teens 15y+ who want to make a simple custom clay pumpkin. An instructor will be there to help guide you and provide technical support. 

Students will be supported by the instructor on how to create this simple handbuilt forms with up to 2 lbs of clay. You will have time to apply glazes to your piece. We will keep the project to dry and fire and provide a pick date.

Get to know the pottery wheel in this 4 week Wednesday course. Students will learn how to wedge, center clay on the wheel and pull walls to form awesome shapes on the wheel. Once pieces are formed and have dried some, students will learn how to successfully trim and adorn their pieces. Students will learn how to glaze their pieces on the last day of class.

This class is geared for beginners or people wanting more practice with their skill building before moving to intermediate. 

Demonstrations and guidance will be provided throughout every class. All experience levels and questions are welcomed!

On the first day of class, students will purchase 12lb/25lb bag of clay to use during the course at $15/$30. Please bring exact change in cash or you can tap pay a qr code.  

We use glazes that are considered food safe. Projects will be made with a strong stoneware clay that turns white once fired in the kiln.

Dressing for a messy class is recommended.

Join us in Artmosphere’s clay studio space! Located next to the main building. Park in front of the main building and walk over.

Mosaic Class- Terra Cotta Bird Bath

Join us to make a fun outdoor mosaic bird bath. This class is an introduction to making outdoor mosaics. Simple design and planning, cutting and adhesives will be discussed. You will complete a take home project of a 10 inch mosaic terra cotta bird bath. The skills learned can be applied to a wide variety of outdoor mosaic projects. A large assortment of materials will be available. All supplies included. 

Please wear closed toed shoes and personal safety glasses. 

This class will take place in an outdoor area weather permitting.

You will have several holiday themed designs to choose one from such as a ghouly ghost, a pumpkin, Christmas tree or Snowman. Design a beautiful, one-of-a-kind resin bookmark in this fun, beginner-friendly workshop! You'll learn the basics of working with epoxy resin while exploring vibrant alcohol inks, shimmering glitter, and decorative embellishments to create a functional piece of art that's uniquely yours.

During class, you'll discover techniques for blending colors, creating eye-catching effects, and safely working with resin. You'll also personalize your bookmark with optional additions such as metallic flakes, pressed flowers, or tassels for the perfect finishing touch.

No prior experience is needed—all materials and supplies are provided. By the end of the workshop, you'll have a custom resin bookmark and the knowledge to continue creating resin projects at home. Please note that resin requires curing time, so bookmarks will need to be transported home carefully. We will provide a cardbord to keep it flat for transport.
