THINGS TO KNOW:

-Handbuilding:

Small, quick, handbuilt projects may be glazed in class with underglazes immediately after making.

If you plan on making a larger project that takes more time, you will need to purchase another Creative Clay Time Class to work on glazing your project with guidance. Projects will be fired in the kiln before the next class.

-Wheel Throwing:

Wheel thrown pieces will need to be dried some, then trimmed on the wheel to remove excess clay and create a foot ring. You may purchase another creative clay time class if you would like to learn/practice trimming your pieces with instructor guidance.

For glazing, your wheel thrown pieces must first be fired in the kiln after drying out completely. If you wish to glaze them with instructor guidance, you will need to purchase another Creative Clay Time Class.

Other Option:

You may request for your wheel thrown piece to be finished by an instructor for a fee of $15.00 per piece should you not want to purchase another class.

Notice: An instructor must be present before starting the glaze process with studio glazes.

Students are required to thoroughly clean up tools, tables, and wheels after using and put everything back in its place. The studio technician will announce clean up time 15 minutes before the end of class.

If you do not finish your project in the allotted time, you are welcome to purchase another Creative Clay Time Class to finish it later.

Projects will be fired in a kiln to completion. Your instructor will give you a slip at the end of class with a pick-up date.

Disclaimer: Due to the nature of ceramics, sometimes unfortunately projects can crack, break or can be damaged in the firing process even with the most care and consideration. Unfortunately this is not a cause for refunds.

Cancellation Policy: No refunds if cancelled < 1 week notice or missed due to illness or otherwise. Refunds made prior to 1 week will be sent back to card processed on minus processing fees.
