Dinosaur Clay Camp- 7y-14y

We’re traveling back to the stone age in this two day clay camp! Your child will pick their favorite dinosaur and use fundamental handbuilding techniques to create their own. On the second day, they’ll use various underglazes of their liking to give their dinosaur some color.
Please send a snack and drink with your child each day.
Demonstrations and guidance will be provided throughout class.
All experience levels and questions are welcomed!
Projects will be made with a strong stoneware clay that turns white once fired in the kiln.
Dressing for a messy class is recommended.

Summer Teen Art Class

School is OUT! But your Teen can still get their art fix 1x month this Summer!
This class will be a 2 hour art project class focused for teens interested in being creative and honing creative skills. No art experience required as this will be for all skill levels from beginner to advanced. They can take their project as far or as minimal as they wish to invest.
All materials will be provided and guidance will be provided as needed. Each month will be a different art technique focus, such as drawing, painting, and/or mixed media etc.
Have your teen join in some socialization and express their creativity all at once. Sign up for 1 or all 3 this summer.

Cow Mug Clay Camp- 1 Day Sat. Camp

Another camp for the family, yay! This time we’re making highland cow themed mugs. You’ll learn a fundamental technique called slab building to create your mug shape. Then, you’ll learn how to properly attach your highland cow's features such as a nose, horns, those famous locks of hair, plus other desired details. You’ll then use various underglazes to give your cow some color.
Please bring or send a snack and drink.

Cacti are heat resilient plants often found in the desert. In this one day camp, your child will create their own cactus, a whimsical one that can withstand the heat of a kiln. They learn fundamental handbuilding techniques like the pinch pot method and how to use various tools to add fun textures. They’ll then use underglazes to add splashes of color to their cactus.
Please send a snack and drink with your child.

Painting Camp #2 9y-14y

Cost: $169
4 days of painting!!! Students will learn painting techniques and tips as well as composition, color theory and how to make texture. We will use brushes and other tools as well as some mix media projects. Children will get to experiment with watercolors and acrylics. They will create multiple projects on paper and canvas such as paint pouring, and splatter. If painting is their thing, this is their camp!
*FYI-This is mostly a repeat of the #1 June Camp with older age range. Do not register for both

Gnome Clay Camp -1 Day Thurs. Camp

What do you gnome? Our whimsical garden friends are back for a fun one day camp! Your child will create pinch pots, that they’ll attach together, to form a gnome with a hat. They’ll then learn how to properly attach unique features to their gnomes. Finally, they’ll bring their gnomes to life by adding some color with underglazes.

Kids 11y-16y Wheel Throwing Class

Wheel Throwing for KIDS ONLY!! Your student will get to know the fascinating and mesmerizing pottery wheel in this two hour long class. They will learn how to wedge, center, and pull walls in a participation style demonstration. Students will then be set free to practice with multiple balls of clay. Guidance will be provided throughout class. All experience levels and questions are welcomed!
This is a great introductory class as well as a quick fun kids wheel throwing clay class to participate in.
Students may choose one piece to be finished by staff. Staff will hand trim and glaze your piece with one glaze of your choice. We use glazes that are considered food safe. Projects will be made with a strong stoneware clay that turns white once fired in the kiln
