Frog Jar -1 Day Thurs. Clay Camp

Hop on into the clay studio, we’re making frog jars! In this one day Thursday camp, your child will learn multiple handbuilding techniques as they form a fun frog shaped jar with a fitting lid. They’ll then paint their jar with underglazes of their liking. 

Please send a snack and drink with your child.

Demonstrations and guidance will be provided throughout class.

All experience levels and questions are welcomed!

Projects will be made with a strong stoneware clay that turns white once fired in the kiln.

Dressing for a messy class is recommended.

Please park in front of the main building and walk over to the clay studio.

Gargoyles All Ages- 1 Day Sat. Camp

Ages 5y through Adult (Ages 7y & under must have adult accompany them)

Finally, a camp for the whole family! Gargoyles can typically be found on rooftops protecting mason walls from water erosion. In this one day Saturday camp, you'll use multiple handbuilding and sculpting techniques to form a miniature gargoyle statue from a lump of clay. You'll be able to proudly display your unique gargoyle anywhere!

Please bring or send a snack and drink.

Demonstrations and guidance will be provided throughout class.

All experience levels and questions are welcomed!

Fairy/Gnome House Clay Camp- 7y-14y

In this two day camp, we’re creating whimsical houses fit for a fairy or gnome! Your child will learn handbuilding skills such as the pinch pot and slab rolling to create a structure for their fantastical house. They’ll learn how to create windows, doors and decorations and then properly attach them to their house. On the second day of camp, they’ll paint their houses with underglazes of their liking. 

Please send a snack and drink with your child each day.

Join us in this 1 day Saturday Camp and Let's make your own Art Journal from cover to cover! We will used mixed media materials to make our very own unique journal to take home and use over and over for capturing ideas, sketches, masterpieces, fun stickers or glue ins. The journal will be an artwork in itself!

All safe materials are included.

Summer Teen Art Class

School is OUT! But your Teen can still get their art fix 1x month this Summer! 

This class will be a 2 hour art project class focused for teens interested in being creative and honing creative skills. No art experience required as this will be for all skill levels from beginner to advanced. They can take their project as far or as minimal as they wish to invest.

All materials will be provided and guidance will be provided as needed. Each month will be a different art technique focus, such as drawing, painting, and/or mixed media etc. 

Have your teen join in some socialization and express their creativity all at once. Sign up for 1 or all 3 this summer.

UFO Clay Camp- 7y-14y

This two day clay camp is going to be out of this world! Your child will make a UFO sculpture that’ll light up the night. They’ll also make their UFO an alien pilot. Your child will learn multiple techniques such as the pinch pot and slab rolling methods. On the second day of camp, they’ll paint their UFO and aliens with underglazes of their liking.

We wheely love clay at Artmosphere! In this one day camp, your child will give the wheel a whirl while learning fundamental techniques such as centering and pulling walls to create various shapes like bowls and cups. Towards the end of camp, they’ll choose their favorite piece and use underglazes to add some decorations and color.

Your child will dive deep into handbuilding clay, in this two day camp. They use fundamental techniques like coiling and the pinch pot method to form a whale shaped lantern. On the second day of camp, they’ll use hole cutting tools to remove clay so the light can shine through their piece. Finally, they’ll use underglazes and paint on their whale’s final details. 

Please send a snack and drink with your child each day.
