Learn the awesome art of slab building in the clay studio! In this class, you'll assemble a bowl with slabs of clay. Then, you'll learn how to properly attach a festive turkey and decorate it with underglazes. These stoneware bowls will be perfect for you're favorite Thanksgiving dish!

Demonstrations and guidance will be provided throughout class. All experience levels and questions are welcomed!

Dressing for a messy class is recommended.

Please park in front of the main building and walk over to the clay studio.

Students will receive a slip with a date for when their project(s) will be ready for pick up.

Bring the family and make something special in the clay studio! This class is dedicated time for families who want to spend quality time together, while learning how to hand build with clay. Bring your own project ideas or choose from one of ours! An instructor will be there to help guide you every step of the way. 

Parents or adult family members may attend and join to assist younger students with their creation without paying a fee, however only registered students will have their final project fired.

Glazes

Tools

Kiln firings

Projects will be fired in a kiln to completion. Your instructor will give you a slip at the end of class with a pick-up date.

Cancellation Policy: No refunds if cancelled < 1 week notice or missed due to illness or otherwise. Refunds made prior to 1 week will be sent back to card processed on minus processing fees.

Get into the festive season! Join us in the clay studio to paint a ceramic tree. We have multiple glaze colors for you to choose from. Demonstrations and guidance will be provided throughout class. All experience levels and questions are welcomed!

Ages: All Ages- 7y/o to Adults

Celebrate the holiday season with a sweet twist! In this fun, beginner-friendly class, you'll create a 'gingerbread' ornament using brown and white clay. You'll learn some basic techniques as you add your own awesome features. Demonstrations and guidance will be provided throughout class. All experience levels and questions are welcomed!
