Sip & Spin- Wheel Throwing Fun Clay Class- May
with Cat Trueblood
Monthly every 2nd Friday night!
Enjoy your favorite adult beverage while you (wheel)throw down! Get to know the pottery wheel in this fun, adult only class. You'll learn how to wedge, center, and pull walls in a participation style demonstration. Students will then be set free with multiple balls of clay to practice until their heart’s content (and 8:30pm:). Event is BYOB and Snacks! Feel free to bring a small cooler to keep beverages cool.
Guidance will be provided throughout class. All experience levels and questions are welcomed!
Students may choose one piece to be finished by staff. You may choose a 2nd piece to be finished for $10 fee. Staff will hand trim and glaze your piece with one glaze of your choice. We use glazes that are considered food safe. Projects will be made with a strong stoneware clay that turns white once fired in the kiln.
Dressing for a messy class is recommended. Join us in Artmosphere’s new clay studio space! Located next to the main building. Please park in front parking lot and walk over.

Monthly All Ages Homeschool Clay Class- May

Ages 5y and up (even adults!)
Offered once a month on 3rd Thursday mornings, you can join in a 1hr teacher lead themed clay handbuilding project. All Age students will have the opportunity to be creative and practice clay techniques. This class is appropriate for both beginners and beyond. Sign up monthly to build your skills or drop in when time allows.
Children under 7y needs an adult accompainment to assist them.
Due to the time necessary to dry, glaze and kiln fire, the pick up days will be communicated and scheduled the day of class.
Disclaimer: Due to the fragile nature of ceramics, some pieces have the risk of cracking, breaking or being damaged during the drying and firing process even with the most care. This will not be a reason for refund.
Cat Dish- Clay Class

In this all age class, we’ll explore the tactile medium of clay by crafting a personalized cat dish. Your feline friend deserves a stylish and functional bowl to feast from, and what better way to provide it than by hand-building one yourself? You learn multiple techniques as you make your special creation.

In this all age class, we’ll dive into the world of pinch pots to create an adorable puffer fish-shape planter! Whether you’re a seasoned potter or a curious beginner, this project promises both fun and functionality. All Out Clay Camp 8y-16y

Cost: $85
The possibilities with clay making are endless! In this 2 Day Camp your child will explore both handbuilding and wheel throwing in this two day camp. On the first day we’ll hand build an animal themed bobble head then paint it with underglazes. On the second day, your child will give the pottery wheel a whirl and make a small bowl or cup. They’ll choose a color for their piece to be glazed with by staff later on. This is the perfect camp for your child to explore the wide world of ceramics!
Please send a snack and drink with your child each day.

Gargoyles All Ages- 1 Day Sat. Camp

Ages 5y through Adult (Ages 7y & under must have adult accompany them)
Finally, a camp for the whole family! Gargoyles can typically be found on rooftops protecting mason walls from water erosion. In this one day Saturday camp, you'll use multiple handbuilding and sculpting techniques to form a miniature gargoyle statue from a lump of clay. You'll be able to proudly display your unique gargoyle anywhere!
Please bring or send a snack and drink.
